Three Tips for Being Alone for the Holidays 

Not everyone spends the holidays surrounded by family or friends, and that’s okay! Whether by choice or circumstance, being alone can also be a time for rest, reflection, and renewal. Here are three ways to make the most of it: 

1. Create Your Own Traditions 

   Watch your favorite movies, cook a special meal, or take a solo trip to a festive spot in the city. Your holidays can look exactly as you want them to, curate them to your taste. 

2. Connect in New Ways 

   Volunteer, attend a local event, or join a virtual gathering. The holidays are about community, and sometimes that means finding it in new places. Do it scared, as long as you’re doing it! 

3. Prioritize Self-Care 

Treat yourself to things that nourish your mind and body. Exercise, meditate, or journal about what you’re grateful for. Solitude can be healing when you use it to recharge.
